Analysts expect Olympics to boost HDFS profits by 43% for the first half of 2004
Greek retailer Hellenic Duty Free Shops (HDFS) is expected to post a 43% rise in pretax profits for the first half of 2004, according to a Reuters poll, due to the higher traffic and sales generated by the Olympic Games
Seven analysts have forecast an average pretax profit of Eu23.2m ($29m), up from Eu16.2m ($20.25m) in the same period last year.
