Alpha-operated bar has been redeveloped “to match the needs of the airport’s increasing number of travellers”
Alpha Airports Group has reopened its bar at Stockholm Skavsta airport. The company claims the bar, located airside at the airports terminal, has been redeveloped to match the needs of the airports increasing number of travellers. The airport expected passenger numbers to increase from 1.8m to 2.6m over the next year after the introduction of 15 new flight routes by low-cost carrier Ryanair.
Alpha CEO Peter Williams said: The opening of the newly refurbished bar at Skavsta airport will help the airport serve its growing number of business and holiday travellers. We know from our own research that customers at the airport are looking for a relaxing environment after security where they can enjoy a drink and some food before catching their flight. The redeveloped bar will meet these needs, offering the exceptional standard of catering and service that Alpha is known for, as well as providing a great experience.
Skavsta airport managing director Dot Gade Kulovuori said: We are delighted to work with Alpha, which has experience in understanding and catering for the varied needs of our passengers. Alpha has been flexible in its approach by adapting its outlets to meet the rapid growth we are experiencing here at Skavsta. The new bar is very appealing and will be a focal point for all our customers in the departure area.
The refurbished bar will operate seven days a week from 4.30am to 11pm and will run regular promotions with international drinks suppliers.
