St Maarten appoints eight retailers for new terminal

Princess Juliana International airport has appointed four new and four existing concessionaires to run stores at its new terminal

Princess Juliana International airport on the island of St Maarten has made the first retail appointments following the tender to run retail at the airport's new terminal. The landlord has selected four new and four incumbent operators to open stores in the new facility, and a further 31 contracts remain to be signed.

The incumbent operators to win contracts in the new terminal, first floor departures are Edil Duty Free, operating a liquor and tobacco store; David's (souvenir and gift shop) and Roblitos (Cuban cigars). Dutch Delight will operate a convenience store on the ground level.

New concessionaires to sign are coffee shop Kaffe; Last Mango in Paradise (T-shirts, caps, resort wear); chocolate shop Jeff de Bruges; and skincare and beauty concept L'Occitane.
