Cross-Channel catamaran operator SpeedFerries opens its exclusive terminal at Dover

SpeedFerries has opened a Hoverport terminal at Dover’s ferry port and is finalising plans for a new shop offering travel and holiday-related items that is expected to open within the next two months. There are also plans for a new store in Boulogne that will sell liquor and traditional duty-free goods.

The Boulogne shop will be located in a new terminal development at the location. Spokeswoman Marianne Illum told RavenFox.com: "We already have a shop in Boulogne, but it is a temporary outlet. We will have new structured stores in both ports as well as bars, lounges and restaurants at Boulogne and Dover."

SpeedFerries also plans to introduce a second vessel to the Dover–Boulogne route. "It was a precondition that we had to have the Hoverport in Dover so we could accommodate a second vessel. Now we have this we can begin plans to expand."
