SkyPlaza opening postponed to 2007

The new facility at Hong Kong International airport was due to open in December, but will now be opened in the first quarter of next year
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has revealed that the opening of its new SkyPlaza, containing 35,000sq m (376,600sq ft) of commercial space, will be postponed until the first quarter of next year. The project was originally due to open in December.
AAHK general manager retail and advertising Eva Tsang told DFNI Asia that the authority had more or less finalised its line-up of commercial and airline tenants. She said: At this stage, the concessionaires are ready to gowe are preparing notice of the site handover, which will allow them to complete the fit out and make sure they have their stock in place.
The new facility will also house the airports terminal two, which will accommodate some Asian, Middle Eastern and mainland Chinese airlines, as well as rentable office space and AAHKs new headquarters.
