The operator gains another off-airport contract following its recent victory at Lok Ma Chau rail terminal

Sky Connection has been awarded the contract to operate arrivals outlets at Hong Kong ferry terminals serving Macau and the Pearl River Delta region. The outlets, formerly run by ship chandler Harbour Victory, sell liquor and tobacco to passenger groups comprising mainly arriving mainland Chinese passengers and returning Hong Kong residents.

Sky Connection has operated departures stores at the two terminals since winning the contract from the Government Property Agency (GPA) in June 2003. The recent award comes just weeks after Sky Connection secured a crucial contract for departures and arrivals duty-free stores covering all product categories at Hong Kong's new rail border crossing into China at Lok Ma Chau (DFNI June 1).
