Singapore Show Preview: registrations up 25%
With three weeks to go until the Tax Free Asia Pacific show, Tax Free World Association has announced that current visitor registration figures are 25% up on the same period last year. The Association also reported increased international participation, particularly from Chinese and Japanese delegates.
The four-day event will be opened with a conference titled Asia's Travelling Consumer with speakers including vice chairman of Goldman Sachs Kenneth Courtis, head of research at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Colin McIlheney and president of China Duty Free Group Gai Zhi Xin.
Tax Free World Association ceo Andrew Ford commented: "The Tax Free Asia Pacific event has developed significantly in the six year's since its inauguration and we are confident that this year's event will take it to the next level.
We have had a very positive demand for access to the Singapore Swing Party being held on Thursday 25 May, such that it is almost sold out."
