Singapore Changi assesses confectionery bids
The airport receives five bids for its two confectionery contracts at terminal two
Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is assessing bids for the chocolate/candy and delicatessen concessions at Singapore Changi terminal two, and expects to make a decision within three weeks. By the March 11 deadline, bids had been received from King Power, Dufry, Swizzle, Focus Network Agencies and Nuance-Watson. DFNI eXTRA understands that DFS Group declined to bid. The contracts will run for three years with a two-year renewal option. The sole bidder for the delicatessen concession was incumbent Swizzle, said a spokesman for CAAS.
Two contracts are on offer. One, for chocolate and candy, covers an outlet each in the departure/transit lounge south and departure/transit lounge north, while the other, covering delicatessen shops, is for one outlet in the departure/transit lounge central and one in the departure/transit lounge north wing.
