Singapore Airlines has improved its KrisShop website to allow customers to order from a diverse range of 200 products and a number of online exclusives

Singapore Airlines has upgraded its KrisShop website, www.krisshop.com so that customers can select from a diverse range of more than 200 premium products at duty-free prices (customs, import duties and postal clearance are applicable and separate to the price).  Before the revamp, customers could only view the inflight sales items and had to order by mail or fax. Products include designer brands, beauty items, travel accessories and collectors’ items exclusive to Singapore Airlines.

Singapore Airlines senior vice-president cabin crew Tan Pee Teck said: “Customers who travel on Singapore Airlines enjoy value-for-money, hassle-free shopping from the comfort of their seat in the aircraft. By taking KrisShop online, we are giving them and many others the luxury of purchasing quality items from the privacy of their homes, without burning a hole in their pocket. Moreover, customers can trust the quality they are getting because of the stringent selection process we adopt.”

Members of Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer Programme continue to earn one mile for every dollar spent on the website.  Aside from mileage benefits, members of the PPS Club will continue to enjoy a 10% discount off the online price (voucher redemption cannot be carried out for online purchases).

To better serve the needs of its premium customers, KrisShop will launch an inflight sales catalogue exclusive to the airline’s first-and business-class travellers. These brand-focused offerings are in addition to items featured in the existing KrisShop catalogue. The launch issue, to be released in July 2007, will showcase a range of luxury Montblanc watches, writing instruments and accessories. Customers may choose to purchase these items on board or pre-order them.

Singapore Airlines has also collaborated with luxury brand, Aigner, to produce exclusively designed items to celebrate the airline’s sixtieth anniversary this year.  Aigner is a consistent KrisShop best-seller.To commemorate 60 years of Singapore Airlines’ operations, Aigner is offering customers a collector’s edition ladies’ watch.
