The company will operate a 200sq m (2,152sq ft) outlet at Abu Dhabi International airport terminal three

UAE electronics retailer Sharaf DG plans to open a new mobile phones outlet at Abu Dhabi International airport terminal three by the end of this year. The operator, which took over the electronics concession at the location at the start of the year, is present in terminals one and two, and will operate a new 200sq m (2,152sq ft) outlet in T3 that is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year. Sharaf also operates stores at Al Ain airport, in the Ghweifat border shop and elsewhere in the UAE where it shares space with other product categories.

The decision to open a store dedicated to mobile phones follows a two-month consumer behaviour study. Products from Finnish manufacturer Nokia currently account for 67% of overall phone sales in Sharaf’s stores.
