German airport operator Fraport may be offering its consultancy and training services to Chinese airports under a joint venture with Shanghai Airport Group.

German airport operator Fraport may be offering its consultancy and training services to Chinese airports under a joint venture with Shanghai Airport Group. The two parties signed a letter of intent following discussions at the end of last year, and a meeting in March 2003 focused on the marketing of the groups' airport expertise in the region. Fraport ceo Dr Wilhelm Bender and Shanghai Airport Group ceo Wu Nianzhu said they expected the venture to be operational by the end of the year.
