Guerlain president and CEO Renato Semerari is to take the post of Sephora Europe president and CEO

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has made two key appointments at its Selective Distribution and Perfumes & Cosmetics divisions, effective from October 1. Guerlain president and CEO Renato Semerari has been appointed as president and CEO of Sephora Europe, while Guerlain general manager Laurent Boillot will takeover from Semerari as Guerlain president and CEO.

LVMH group managing director Toni Belloni said: “We are happy to see two talented managers take responsibility within the group. Renato has led the remarkable renaissance of Guerlain over the last five years. His leadership and beauty expertise are a meaningful reinforcement of our capabilities to support Sephora’s ambitious plans. Laurent has been [like] his right arm over these years. He has the skills and intimate knowledge of the brand to take Guerlain to new heights.”
