Save the date: DFNI Charity Ball 2009

The 2009 edition of the popular DFNI Charity Ball will be held on February 27 at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London. The beneficiary will be announced at a later date

DFNI is inviting the many long-time supporters of the DFNI Charity Ball to mark next year’s date early to avoid clashes in a packed industry calendar. The ball, which has raised vital funds for several small but worthy causes through the years—most recently £70,000 for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin—will be held on February 27 2009 at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London.

DFNI is also keen to receive recommendations for beneficiaries for the 2009 event. In the past the charities have mainly—but not exclusively—been small regional organisations working to improve the lives of children. DFNI is keen to consider any charity where its contribution can have a significant impact, and those charities with a personal connection to the travel-retail industry will be favoured.
