Birmingham airport head of market development commercial Ray Savage is to leave the company after 10 years’ service
Birmingham International airport head of market development Ray Savage is to step down from the post on April 25 to join UK motorway service station operator RoadChef as commercial director and board member. He has been at Birmingham for almost 10 years.
Birmingham has just completed a major commercial redevelopment of its terminal one, and Savage said that the completion of the project marked an important landmark for the airport. “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved as a team commercially at the airport,” he told DFNIonline.
The move marks a return to the motorway service for Savage, who joined Birmingham from Moto forerunner Granada.
