San Francisco issues health, beauty and pharmacy tender

The contract for the 2,500sq ft (232sq m) outlet will run for five years and begins in August

The airport commission of San Francisco International airport (SFO) has issued a tender for a pharmacy, health and beauty store in boarding area F in terminal three.
 
The contract for the 2,500sq ft (232sq m) outlet runs for five years from August, with the option of a two-year extension. The airport is seeking a minimum annual guarantee (MAG) of $160,000.
 
Interested parties have until June 19 to submit their proposals and the concession will begin in August. Applicants must have at least three years’ experience in the past five years of managing a speciality retail store and one year’s experience in the ownership or management of a pharmacy, health and beauty retail store. They must also have achieved at least $1m per qualifying year. Proposals will be reviewed based on criteria including experience, design intent, proposed MAG and financial strength and business plan.
