SUTL lands Mongolia contract

SUTL Corp of Singapore has secured an exclusive supply contract for Mongol News Corp, which has been awarded an arrivals shop at Ulaan Baatar airport in Mongolia

In addition, a downtown shop is to be opened for diplomats and licence holders, as well as a shop on the Russian border. SUTL will supply all products for the outlets and provide management services for the Mongol News retail operations.

SUTL managing director and deputy chairman Arthur Tay said: "SUTL is committed to growth in the travel-retail business. We have a solid supplier network and distribution businesses through out Indochina and we are increasingly supplying more than just international branded tobacco products to markets in Asia. SUTL is now looking to grow further in the region, either through acquisition, partnerships or supply contracts, such as this one with Mongol News."

Mongol News has a 10-year contract with the airport authority.
