Jean-Philippe Aucher will be responsible for rebuilding the Stolichnaya brand in duty-free and travel-retail

Liquor supplier SPI Group has appointed Jean-Philippe Aucher as global duty-free and travel-retail director. Aucher will be responsible for rebuilding the Stolichnaya vodka brand in the channel. He previously worked as Altadis Group travel-retail director, where he developed the Gauloises brand into one of the top five tobacco brands in European duty-free.

SPI said in a statement: “His extensive experience in building strong relationships with key accounts will stand him in good stead in his new role as the SPI Group focuses increasingly on this sector as a key element of its overall marketing strategy.”
