Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS) has launched an online shopping website. The site opened on October 1 and serves SAS customers as well as other interested shoppers. The range of goods available is broad, from Montblanc writing instruments to Scandinavian designer homewares. Children's products are also available, as is SAS-branded merchandise including model aircraft from SAS and Braathens.
The site is designed for customers to make purchases and send as gifts to any destination across the globe. Its launch represents part of a diversification strategy for the SAS brand and is run as part of the SAS Business Opportunities group.
