Ryanair deputy CEO to open Airline Retail Conference

Michael Cawley will be the opening speaker at this year's Airline Retail Conference which runs from July 20-21
The importance of generating ancillary revenue to inflight retail will be a key theme of the conference and four of the top five ancillary revenue earners, including AirAsia, Easyjet, Ryanair and Vueling will be in attendance.
ARC event director Alex Vail said: “We are delighted Michael is opening ARC 2010. He plays a pivotal role in growing inflight revenues at Ryanair, and brings a tremendous amount of inflight retail experience and wisdom.”
Other speakers include KLM director inflight sales Koos Kruijswijk, Lufthansa WorldShop director marketing sales & cooperations Gyde Brix, Dixons Travel head of commercial and marketing Andy Webb and London Heathrow Airport retail concessions director Brian Woodhead.
