Russian Standard teams up with Maxxium in Asia
Distribution of Russia’s premium vodka brand extended to Southeast Asia
Russian Standard vodka has announced a partnership with Maxxium South East Asia to distribute the Russian Standard brand portfolio in Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and the Philippines. The agreement, which covers Russian Standard Original, Russian Standard Platinum, Russian Standard Gold and Imperia, includes domestic and travel-retail markets.
Russian Standard vodka export director Mykola Kuzemko said: “We are excited to work with a powerful distributor such as Maxxium to introduce the Russian Standard vodka portfolio to these key markets. Southeast Asia has a fast-growing economy and a large population of young and dynamic liquor consumers. Volume sales in the vodka category have nearly doubled in the past four years. Our expansion in Asia is a significant step in meeting our goal of becoming a global leader in the premium vodka market.”
Maxxium Southeast Asia managing director Jonathan Chow said: “We are excited to bring Russia’s number one vodka to Southeast Asia. As the vodka category grows in domestic and travel-retail markets, we are confident that Russian Standard will do very well in this region.”
Maxxium South East Asia is a division of Maxxium Worldwide, a global distribution company with operations in more than 35 countries.
