Rugby association hosts event for Bali victims

13-Nov-2002

The Tax Free Rugby Association (TFRA) has decided to organise a charity event for the victims and families of Singapore Cricket Club members who suffered during the recent atrocities in Bali

Three rugby players (who participated against the TFRA team in Singapore this year) lost their lives in this incident, with several others being badly injured.

To help the families of the victims, the association will host a Rugby Ball in Paris on December 6.

The evening, to be held at the Ho Bar at 37 avenue de Friedland, will include a full-course dinner with two drinks or wine, and entry to the post-dinner party. Individual seats can be purchased for Eur150. Sponsorship tables of 8-10 people can be purchased for either Eur1,200 or Eur1,500. There will be a DJ with music and dancing following the dinner, and a cash bar.

For those interested in only attending the post-dinner party the donation entry fee will be Eur30 (with one free drink). This is expected to begin at 11pm.

Also, a formal auction will be held to raise additional funds. Any companies interested in providing gifts or donations to this event are kindly requested to do so. Full details are shown below.

A special hotel rate has been arranged at the Hotel Madeleine Plaza. Please make reservations directly and confirm by quoting "Pierre Lequeux - Hermes Parfums" as the code at time of booking. The location is:
