French airport authority Aéroports de Paris has invited bidders for about 850sq m (9,150sq ft) of retail space at Paris Charles de Gaulle terminal one
Aéroports de Paris is tendering retail space at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport terminal one. The French airport authority is offering a single contract for the operation of two 256sq m (2,754sq ft) airside outlets, one selling liquor and tobacco and the other offering fragrances and cosmetics as well as a 75sq m (807sq ft) beauty store on the pre-security shopping level and seven last-minute shops totalling 284sq m (3,055sq ft).
Work on a thorough renovation at the terminal, which serves both Schengen and non-Schengen routes, began in April and is due to be completed in early 2008. Over 9m passengers passed through T1 last year.
The deadline for submissions is December 6. The tender notice did not specify contract duration or expectations ? details of the preselection process can be obtained on request by registered letter to: Aeroports de Paris, Unité Commerces, Orly Sud 103, 94396 Orly Aérogare Cedex.
