Retail operations lift profits at Christchurch

The airport’s income from concessions and rentals grew by 4.18%
Christchurch International airport has announced net profits of NZ$24m ($18.2m) for the year to June 30 2007, a rise of 2.1% compared to 2006. The companys statement highlighted the importance of improved commercial returns to its performancewhile total revenues were slightly down from the previous year, revenues from concessions and rentals were up by 4.2% to NZ$30m ($22.7m).
