Raven Fox announces the Global Travel Retail Summit 2004
TRW publisher Raven Fox and Horizon Research Consumer Insight, in association with Business Traveller magazine, are teaming up to organise a major industry event focusing on the consumer in travel-retail, to be held in Amsterdam in April 2004
The second Global Travel Retail Summit "Inside the Consumer Mind" will provide the most comprehensive and in-depth insights yet revealed into the travelling consumer. It will feature exclusive data on the spending habits of key customer groups, track the spending habits of the most important nationalities across a series of major locations and provide expert analysis of consumer behaviour, with perspectives from within and beyond the industry.
Raven Fox managing director Guy Cheston said: "This industry is chronically short of meaningful, actionable insights into the travelling consumer, the cornerstone of our business. This event, the first in this trade to focus exclusively on the consumer in travel-retail, will deliver insight, analysis and solutions. And it will examine how travellers' behaviour reacts to outside influences such as terrorism, war and SARS.
"Our sister title Business Traveller, as the world's leading business travel magazine, will provide the view from the pivotal business traveller's perspective. We also aim to ensure delegates leave this event with a better understanding of how travellers' expectations are evolving and how the changing face of business and leisure travel will affect their businesses."
