The Paraguayan retailer appoints experienced hotel executive to replace Nicolas Urioste

Christian Rasmussen has been appointed by Paraguayan duty-free and fragrances specialist Bright Star to manage the company's duty-free business.

Rasmussen replaces Nicolas Urioste, who left the company last month. He joins Bright Star from the Sheraton hotel group where he headed up the sales and marketing division at the Sheraton Asunción.

Bright Star holds concessions to run arrival and departure stores at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Asunción as well as managing the sales programme onboard regional airline TAM Mercosur.
