The leathergoods manufacturer already produces and distributes bags and luggage for Porsche Design

Porsche Design Group has announced it will collaborate with leathergoods manufacturer Müller & Meirer on a range of men’s shoes that are due to be available in the brand’s stores in 2010. The two companies also concluded a contract extension for the soft luggage collection comprising leathergoods and bags.

Porsche Design chairman of the management board Jürgen Gessler said: “Müller & Meirer already produces high-quality shoes for other well-known brands. This company’s expertise will enable us to complement Porsche Design’s product range in an excellent manner.”

Müller & Meirer owner and CEO Steffen Neumann said: “Our companies are linked by the pursuit of the highest possible degree of functionality, technical manufacturing and emphatic design. We therefore have every confidence that the men’s shoes will be as successful as Porsche Design’s luggage collection, which we have been taking care of for more than 10 years.”
