As part of a restructuring process that began last year, Olivier Plagnol has been given a new role in L'Oréal's Asian travel-retail division

L'Oréal Luxury Products Division Travel Retail Asia (Scental) has promoted Olivier Plagnol to the position of division manager for Biotherm, Shu Uemura and Kiehl's. Plagnol previously filled the post of division manager Asia/Pacific Helena Rubinstein and designer fragrances.

He replaces Jacques Gouallou, who has been appointed Thailand luxury products division general manager.  Vera Breuer, division manager for Helena Rubinstein and Prestige and collections (Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Victor & Rolf, Diesel, Cacharel, Paloma Picasso and Guy Laroche), will take over Plagnol's former role.

The company said: "Olivier's past experience, skills and strategic vision will be real assets to consolidate the development of this key division." Scental also acknowledged Breuer's "commitment and devotion, strong commercial background and marketing expertise".
