Former William Grant & Sons global malts marketing manager Paul Godfrey joins Chivas Brothers as brand director for Chivas Regal 12yo

Pernod Ricard's Scotch whisky division Chivas Brothers has appointed Paul Godfrey as brand director for Chivas Regal 12yo. He replaces Howard Southern, who has moved to Pernod's Paris headquarters as senior category director.

Godfrey joins Chivas from William Grant & Sons, where he has held the post of global malts marketing manager since 2002. He has also worked for Coca-Cola, British-American Tobacco and Grand Metropolitan Brewing.

Godfrey said: "This is a very exciting time to join Chivas Regal. Chivas Brothers is already reaping the rewards of the very powerful foundation it has developed and I look forward to building on this to realise the brand's potential."
