Pernod Ricard announces new management appointments

Thierry Billot will become deputy managing director in charge of brands with Michel Bord in charge of distribution
Liquor supplier Pernod Ricard is to strengthen its management team with the appointment of two new deputy managing directors as of July 1.
Thierry Billot will assume the role of deputy managing director in charge of brands and will be responsible for the brand owner companies that determine the 15 strategic brands’ policies. Billot joined the company in 1982 and was previously chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Europe.
Michel Bord will be promoted to deputy managing director in charge of the distribution network and will work with Billot. His duties will include the organisation and control of the group’s distribution networks and implementation of brands’ strategies in the markets. Bord joined the group in 1991 and has been Americas chairman and CEO since 2006.
Billot and Bord will join the group’s management team which already consists of chairman and CEO Patrick Ricard, managing director Pierre Pringuet, deputy managing director in charge of finance Emmanuel Babeau and deputy managing director in charge of human resources Bruno Rain. From November 5, the date of the next annual general meeting, the company will separate the office of chairman of the board of directors and managing director with the new group comprising CEO Pierre Pringuet and four deputy managing directors.
