Pernod Ricard announces more senior changes

Thibault de Poutier replaces Alexandre Ricard as Pernod Ricard Asia Duty Free managing director

Liquor supplier Pernod Ricard has announced further changes to its senior management team following the appointments of Thierry Billot and Michel Bord, as previously reported on DFNIonline. Former Pernod Ricard Asia Duty Free managing director Alexandre Ricard has joined Irish Distillers as chairman and CEO. He is replaced by Thibault de Poutier, previously Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët commercial director.

Laurent Lacassagne replaces Thierry Billot as Pernod Ricard Europe chairman and CEO. Jean-Christophe Coutures has taken up his position as Pernod Ricard Pacific chairman and CEO, while Franck Lapeyre becomes Jinro Ballantines Company president in South Korea, replacing Coutures. Paul-Robert Bouhier is now Pernod Ricard Singapore managing director, and will also be responsible for the Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia markets.

Following Michel Bord’s promotion to deputy managing director in charge of the distribution network, Alain Barbet has been named Pernod Ricard Americas chairman and CEO. He is replaced as Pernod Ricard USA chairman and CEO by Paul Duffy.

All appointments are effective from July 1.
