The fashion retailer will celebrate the fiftieth birthday of songwriter Paul Weller by displaying images from his limited-edition book

Paul Smith GLOBE is hosting a photographic exhibition in its store at London Heathrow airport terminal five to mark the fiftieth birthday of songwriter Paul Weller.

The exhibition of images taken from his limited-edition book A Thousand Things will chart 30 years of Weller’s musical career, and will be on display until July 3. Only 2,000 copies of the autographed book, which contain 350 photographs and items of personal memorabilia, are available worldwide and 10 of those will be on sale in the T5 shop. The book also includes an exclusive white label vinyl record featuring four previously-unreleased tracks.

BAA head of category for fashion and accessories Hazel Curry said: “Paul Weller is one of the few artists still making music whose work spans generations of fans. We are delighted that our passengers will be among the few to witness this exclusive exhibition and to have the opportunity to own a copy of this piece of history.”
