Patrick Moran appointed to top Brown-Forman duty-free post

Brown-Forman Spirits has announced the appointment of Patrick Moran as vice-president, director global duty-free. Moran has has been operating his own consulting agency in recent years advising many major international spirits and business companies including Brown-Forman.

He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Allied Domecq and Bacardi and was head of liquor and tobacco purchasing and merchandising at DFS Group.
He will operate out of the Brown-Forman London office.

Richard Ferne is moving to a new position as duty-free business development director for the Americas and Asia Pacific. He will remain based in Louisville and will report to Moran.
Kevin Baker has also been appointed duty-free business development director for Europe and Eurasia. He will report to Moran and be based in London.
