The company will supply airports in Portugal, Turkey and India with immediate effect

Australian confectionery brand Paton’s has signed agreements with The Nuance Group about listing its premium chocolate and nut confectionery lines at European and Indian airports.

At Stockholm Arlanda the company will supply 110g milk and dark Chocolate Macadamias, Cointreau-flavoured Chocolate Macadamias and souvenir boxes of Chocolate Macadamias. Paton’s has also secured listings in Portugal at Faro, Lisbon and Porto airports through Lojas Francas de Portugal—the joint venture between The Nuance Group and Portuguese airline TAP Air Portugal subsidiary TAPGER. These include a selection of Macadamia and Almond Royals in 110g and 200g gift boxes, the Minis range with a variety of flavours and a 170g souvenir box of Milk Chocolate Macadamias. At Turkey’s Antalya International airport, the 110g and 200g Milk and Dark Royals, the full range of Minis and a specially-designed souvenir box will be available through Net Urat Duty Free Antalya.

Paton’s business manager Europe Nick Diacon said: “To have secured listings with Nuance and its affiliated companies in Portugal, Sweden and Turkey serves to strengthen our global business partnership with the retailer and will further establish our foundations with the European travel-retail sector. It is a great step for Paton’s and I look forward to strong and successful relationships with each of our new partners.”

The supplier has also signed an agreement with Nuance India to supply Hyderabad and Bangalore International airports. The initial selection will be 200g Macadamia Royals in milk, dark and white chocolate, Almond Royals, 125g Gourmet Selection Cans, the Minis range and a series of India souvenir packs.

Paton’s business manager Lucas Roberts added: “We are delighted to be supplying Nuance with an exclusive range of products including special India destination designs for its new stores at Bangalore and Hyderabad. With India a key growth area for travel-retail, we are excited to add these two new products to our existing Indian distribution network.”
