The supplier hopes to capitalise on the increased traffic in South Africa due to the 2010 FIFA World Cup

Confectionery supplier Paton’s has created new souvenir packs for its chocolate macadamias featuring images of South Africa. The packs will be available at the country’s airports through duty-free retailer Big Five at Johannesburg OR Tambo International and Cape Town International airports during this summer’s FIFA World Cup.

Paton’s hopes to capitalise on the increase in tourists visiting the country for the global football competition. The 170g souvenir boxes of Paton’s Chocolate Covered Macadamias are offered in two designs: a quintet of African animals and a cityscape of Cape Town with Table Mountain in the background. Meanwhile, the 225g box of Paton’s Macadamia Pralines shows a lion against a South African landscape (pictured).
