The Athens International airport CEO was re-elected at last week’s annual assembly in Paris

Airports Council International (ACI)  Europe president Dr Yiannis Paraschis has been re-elected as president for the second term. The Athens International airport CEO was re-elected to lead the organisation at  its annual assembly in Paris last week.

Paraschis said: “I am delighted to continue in this role for a second year. The past year has raised many issues in the airport industry which need to be addressed including the environment, security, airport charges and reviewing of slot regulation. The board of ACI Europe together with the Brussels-based team look forward to continuing this progress and strengthening our work in the year ahead, as the current deterioration in the economic climate means that tangible successes are even more important for an industry faced with such an array of challenges.”
