Paradies extends for 11 years at Rhode Island airport

The US-based retailer will continue trading at the airport until the end of 2017
The Paradies Shops has won an 11-year extension until the end of 2017 on its contract to operate outlets at TF Green airport in Rhode Island. The retailer will extend its offer with a further nine shops under the new contract.
Later this year the retailer will open fashion store Brooks Brothers and book stores Borders and The New York Times Bookstorewhich will feature The Paradies Shops read and return programme. Destination store Only In Rhode Island and CNBC News will open along with womens boutique Details, which will house a wide selection of merchandise including fragrances, jewellery, homewares and luggage.
Federal Hill News will offer take-away catering items as well as usual newsstand merchandise. Explore! Rhode Island will offer tourism and destination items including brochures, videos and books about the area. And convenience store Ocean State TravelMart is also expected to open by the end of the year.
Rhode Island Airport Corp president and CEO Mark Brewer said: While competition for this contract was very stiff, Paradies bubbled to the top. We are delighted to continue our relationship with its team of professional and dedicated staff, while offering our customers a wide variety of quality products with the service standards Paradies is so well known for throughout the industry.
