Paradies brings new concepts to Boise airport

22-Aug-2002

Atlanta-based Paradies Shops announced today an agreement to develop three of its latest branded concepts as part of the Boise airport's terminal expansion project

The Paradies Shops ceo Gregg Paradies said, "The Boise market is very important to us and we look forward to becoming a part of this exciting retail project."

Paradies will open a CNBC News store and its Travel Mart concept will trade as White Pines Travel Mart with a Press Express quick-pay stall for newspapers. A Boise River Marketplace will feature locally-sourced gifts, gourmet foods and souvenirs similar to other Paradies Marketplaces in Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Providence, Midland, Texas, Palm Springs, Philadelphia, Boston and Sacramento airports.

Boise airport director John Anderson said, "We are happy that the Paradies plan will support the 'Buy Idaho' programme by incorporating local products in locally themed stores." Last year Boise airport handled over 3m passengers.
