The US brand’s products already represent 10% of overall cosmetics sales on board the P&O’s vessels
Ferry operator P&O Ferries has welcomed the success of US-based Benefit cosmetics on board its cross-Channel fleet of vessels, where they are listed on four ships. The company first listed the brand’s products in March and Benefit has already grown to represent 10% of all cosmetics sales, with further growth expected following the introduction of sales consultants in the summer.
P&O Ferries head of buying Neil Towns said: “It is important for P&O Ferries to deliver a great customer experience and to reflect the trends in the high street, where Benefit is expanding and commanding prime space in department store chains. We have, with Benefit, designed and tailored a distinctive self-service-style gondola, a first for travel-retail, which allows our passengers free access to the range.”
