P&G Prestige Products travel-retail director Europe/Asia Jürgen Jost has departed the role for a new, as-yet undefined post following an organizational restructure
In a reshuffle of responsibilities, P&G Prestige Products has consolidated Europe, the Middle East and Africa travel-retail into a single EMEA region with a new head, Nick Lambooij, appointed as managing director. As a result of the changes, travel-retail veteran Jürgen Jost (pictured) is no longer director Europe/Asia, although P&G Prestige Products said it could not, at this stage, confirm his new status. The company said only that he “has changed assignments although the new assignment has not yet been announced”. Donatienne de` Fontaines-Guillaume, who is director Europe/North Africa, holds onto her position and reports to Lambooij.
Lambooij, 41, is an internal promotion having most recently been transition manager since 2005 following the P&G acquisition of Cosmopolitan Cosmetics. He led the commercial integration of the Cosmopolitan business and helped shape the European Customer Business Development Department for P&G Prestige. Prior to this, Lambooij was general manager Prestige Products for Germany, Austria and Switzerland based in Schwalbach, Germany.
