Oslo awards retail concessions

SAS Trading will be among the leading concessionaires when Oslo Gardermoen airport's new commercial areas open next year.

The operator has been awarded a 180sq m (1,936sq ft) fashion outlet and a 40sq m (430sq ft) toy shop in international departures, as well as a 400sq m (4,304sq ft) fashion and leisure outlet in domestic departures.

As revealed in TRW (31 July), Capi International will operate a 170sq m (1,829sq ft) electronics store in international departures and another in domestic departures.
Also in the international area, there will be stores operated by Select Service Partner, local firm Christiania Glasmagasin (arts, crafts and souvenirs), Thune (gold, jewellery and watches) and Tanum (books and magazines).

Reitan Narvesen will operate the domestic departures fragrances store, as well as several arrivals stores. Franz Schulz will operate a Tie Rack outlet in domestic departures and a travel accessories store in arrivals.

All contracts are for five years.
