DFNI, TRI and travelretailworld.com publisher Raven Fox has promoted two key personnel, Paul Osborne and John Rimmer, to senior roles.

Osborne has been promoted to deputy managing director. He was formerly business development director. He will head the company's commercial, subscriptions, research, Internet and business development activities, reporting to managing director Martin Moodie.

"This is a well-deserved promotion for Paul who has brought us a wealth of operational expertise since joining the company earlier this year," said Moodie. "Like me, he is a New Zealander and together we intend to ensure that Raven Fox maintains and builds on its market leadership, reputation for quality and commitment to the industry during the current crisis."

Rimmer is named deputy editor on DFNI, reporting to editor-in-chief Dermot Davitt. He retains his role as liquor editor. "John has proved himself a talented and able journalist since joining us last year," said Davitt. "His promotion will strengthen DFNI's editorial team, and help us retain our position as undisputed market leader in the field of travel-retail publishing."
