The airport is due to issue RFPs for two airside speciality retail concession areas in the spring
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) has announced it is to issue requests for proposals (RFPs) for two large airside retail concessions at Orlando International airport in the spring. Nearly 10,000sq ft (929sq m) of space will be available for the development of multiple retail concepts, according to the authority.
The first speciality retail concession covers 4,500sq ft (418sq ft) and is located at the airport’s airside terminal one. The other area, located at airside terminal three, comprises 5,400sq ft (501sq m). Both airside terminals are undergoing extensive refurbishment and GOAA expects the shells for these spaces to be completed in February and March 2009 respectively.
