Operators relieved as KLIA contracts extended

(24-May-2003) - Duty-free contracts at Kuala Lumpur International airport are to be extended for two years from June as part of the government's package of relief measures announced this week.

Initial three-year contracts, which began when KLIA opened in mid-1998, expired last month.
