Nuance Global Traders subsidiary Ocean Trading has secured the onboard pouring contract for Virgin Atlantic Airways, formerly handled by World Duty Free Inflight (WDFI) which is about to close down. The one-year contract begins next month.

"We're delighted to win such a prestigious contract with a high-profile and growing airline such as Virgin," said director John Brocklebank.

Ocean Trading has also snapped up the lucrative UK exclusive airline distribution contract for L'Oreal Luxury Products Division (formerly PBI), another former WDFI agreement.

WDFI executive Ian Blyth is joining Ocean Trading as PBI inflight sales executive. British Airways Enterprises is excluded from the deal and will continue to buy direct.
