Ocean Trading executive Nigel Bennett joins Market Connections

UK distributor Market Connections has appointed Nigel Bennett as international sales manager to help oversee its expanded travel-retail presence following a new agreement with fellow UK distributor Whitehouse Leisure. Market Connections has been entrusted with distributing Whitehouse’s agency brands—including Haribo, Cadbury’s Biscuits, Mattel and Planters Peanuts—in the travel-retail market, building on its existing agreement covering international sales.

 

Bennett has been at The Nuance Group’s UK division Ocean Trading for the past 12 years, most recently as assistant airline manager. Market Connections is taking up Whitehouse’s travel-retail appointment due to the forthcoming retirement of Whitehouse partner Nigel Siddall.
