The low-cost carrier has introduced a shopping service with a bonus gift promotion

Budget airline Oasis Hong Kong has launched an inflight duty-free shopping service offering cosmetics, fragrances, jewellery and watches, travel accessories, children’s gifts, liquor, confectionery and Oasis exclusive products. Among the brands available are Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Clinique, DKNY, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Swarovski, Lacoste, Guess, Akita, Hello Kitty and Chivas Regal.

The duty-free catalogue will be available on all Oasis flights from Hong Kong to London and Vancouver. To mark the launch of the new service, Oasis is also offering Akita electronics as gifts to passengers who spend over HK$800 ($103).

Oasis CEO Stephen Miller said that the shopping service is part of the airline’s plan to continually enhance the passengers’ inflight experience. “The introduction of our duty-free shopping demonstrates our commitment to providing incredible value on air fares, without compromising on the comfort and style experienced during the flight. Oasis is fast becoming the smart way to travel as passengers recognise that they can enjoy the full service offered by other carriers for a much lower price,” he said.
