The Nuance Group has unveiled its new-look Travel Shopping outlet at Cardiff International airport, following a redesign. Nuance took over the five-year duty-free contract from Alpha Retail earlier this year after a tender by landlord TBI.

The new store contains improved lighting and signage, repositioned checkout tills, better showcases and a broader selection of goods, said Nuance.

Cardiff airport managing director Jon Horne said: ?Airport retailing has changed significantly over the last few years but the expectation of value for money remains strong.?

Nuance retail controller Tony Hinchliffe said: ?We have already introduced a much wider selection of merchandise, aimed specifically at the profile of the passenger at Cardiff and we are currently using strong promotions, to not only offer the passenger a wider range of products but great value for money as well.?
