The Nuance Group will introduce its Travel Shopping concept at Sweden's airports when it begins its five-year duty-free contract at 15 of the country's airports on January 1. As revealed by Duty-Free News International, the operator has a concession for 25 shops at Stockholm-Arlanda, Gothenburg-Landvetter and 13 other airports.

The Travel Shopping concept will go into the main shops at Stockholm and Gothenburg, with a new compact version for the regional locations. The concept was developed for the post-abolition era in the EU, and combines duty-free and duty-paid shopping in one store.

Nuance said: "For the Stockholm and Gothenburg stores, the Travel Shopping concept will be enhanced with a markedly Swedish feel. The shops will provide an attractive selection of perfumes, liquor and tobacco, and where space allows, these will be complemented by gift lines as well as confectionery and sunglasses."
