Nuance previews Kit Kat anniversary products

The Nuance Group has launched new products to celebrate Kit Kat’s 75th anniversary one month ahead of other travel retailers

Travel retailer The Nuance Group has launched in partnership with confectionery supplier Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) new products to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Kit Kat. Sixteen Nuance locations are the first to present the new items in duty-free and travel-retail: Toronto Lester Pearson, Sydney International, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Hong Kong International, Zürich, Geneva, Malta, London City, London Heathrow terminal one, Lisbon, Faro, Stockholm Arlanda, Amsterdam Schiphol and Antalya airports.

The new products include a 75th Anniversary Minis Dispenser 200g, which targets the informal gifting and sharing market, and the 75th Anniversary 48 Two-Finger Bars 993g, designed to “surprise family and friends”. These limited-edition packs are exclusive to travel-retail and will be available for one year only.

The Nuance Group Europe buying and merchandising director Alex Anson said: “For some time now, Nestlé and The Nuance Group have closely worked together in the field of category management. We have teamed up to gain deeper insight into consumer behaviour, new trends and aspirations. As a result, we have developed a very special relationship which has now resulted in this opportunity to be first-to-market with an exciting new product in the increasingly important snacking category.”

NITR head of sales Ian Robertshaw added: “It has been good to get both our business functions aligned on a successful launch with excellent in store execution. All the regions have worked collaboratively to ensure a smooth and flawless event.”
