The Nuance Group is opening its stores at Athens's new international airport today, including an Olympic Games theme store (pictured) in an area accessible for both passengers and visitors. Nuance will also operate four outlets in the domestic and intra-Schengen departures area. They are a 60sq m (646sq ft) Hermes brand boutique (the first in Greece), a 50sq m (538sq ft) Bally store, TimeOut watches and Cocoon offering men's and women's fashion and accessories.

The 70sq m (753sq ft) Olympic Store is located in the departures area open to all users, passengers as well as meeters and greeters or visitors. The concept was born out of co-operation between Nuance and the organising committee of the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 (ATHOC). The Olympic Store features exclusive merchandise to promote the Games such as badges, sportswear and casualwear, jewellery, caps and fun gadgets.

General manager for the Nuance Athens operation Argyro Arapidou commented: "When Nuance was given the chance to create an exciting shopping environment at the new Athens airport, the challenge was to offer a mix of strong international brands while covering diverse customer profiles. Across our five stores we believe we have found an answer to this task."
